@flatvernacular’s Hand-Drawn, One-of-a-Kind Wallpapers
Payton Turner and Brian Kaspr are the duo behind Flat Vernacular (@flatvernacular), a Brooklyn-based design company that specializes in one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn and hand-printed wallpapers. Payton and Brian draw each wallpaper to order and print them in small batches. Each roll requires 6-8 weeks to produce and they document the creative process on Instagram.
"Instagram has introduced us to new clients as well as new artists, designers and inspiring visionaries," Payton says. "Our goal with our Instagram is simply to let people in—to share our story, the process and the ideas behind our company and work. Plus, it’s a wonderful way to share our intense love for pattern!"
